For unique fire fighting challenges, they call in the specialists - now recaptured in glorious detail in authentic die-cast replicas.

In 1920, a MACK® AC was fitted with an innovative tower that put out fires in multi-storey buildings. In 1932, a Mercedes was equipped with five spotlights on its roof to illuminate remote areas of the night. That same year, Ford customised a truck with the kind of high pressure turrets on top that are still used today. In 1936, Leyland pioneered one of the first metal ladder trucks and in the late '40s, a Dodge Power Wagon would navigate a remote brush fire while its companion - a GMC® tanker - would be on a nearby road, ready to supply more water.
